October 02, 2012 – Minnetonka, MN – Kim Hofstede has been named as a recipient of the 2012 Developing Leaders Award, presented by the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP). The NAIOP Developing Leaders Award honors rising commercial real estate professionals, 35 years of age and under, for their valued contribution and commitment to the industry. The 2012 Developing Leaders Award was presented to 13 recipients nationwide who showed exemplary achievements and demonstrated outstanding professional accomplishments in the commercial real estate industry.
Ms. Hofstede is a General Manager of Real Estate and Finance and works at Carlson Real Estate's headquarters office in Minnetonka. She joined Carlson in 2004 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Hofstede is a proven leader in NAIOP's Minnesota chapter, having held various positions such as Developing Leaders Committee Chair, University Challenge Chair, and member of the Programs committee. She is also a member of the Trends III National Forum.
In addition to her work with NAIOP, Hofstede is affiliated with Building Owners and Managers Association, Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors and the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
Recipients of NAIOP's Developing Leaders Award will be celebrated October 23-25 in Washington D.C. at Development '12: The Annual Meeting for Commercial Real Estate.
