April 30, 2014 – Carlson Real Estate Company is entering into a partnering arrangement with Welsh and Colliers International | Minneapolis-St. Paul for the operations of Carlson’s 2.4 million-square-foot real estate portfolio in the Twin Cities.
Carlson will continue to be the manager of the properties, providing management oversight and direction, portfolio accounting and financial projections. Property-level functions will be transitioned to Colliers, including building engineering, property level accounting, tenant service and property operations. Colliers will hire several of Carlson’s existing employees.

Carlson has recently sold several properties and now manages a portfolio that is about half its peak size. Colliers manages over 20 million square feet in the Twin Cities market.
