Carlson Real Estate Secures Three More Deals
at CLT Logistics Center
March 21, 2007— Carlson Real Estate Company recently finalized three significant lease transactionsat CLT Logistics Center.

Unified Investigations and Sciences, Inc., an independent forensic engineering and investigations
company that specializes in analysis of arson, burglary, fire, explosions, and an array of other
services, has leased 4,895 square feet at 3300 International Airport Drive. Unified was represented
by Keith Bell of Colliers Pinkard.

At 3101 Yorkmont Road, REDLEE/SCS, Inc. has leased 8,654 square feet. REDLEE/SCS is a major
provider of contract janitorial services for commercial real estate ranging from Class-A office centers
to institutional facilities. It is one of the largest minority-owned organizations of its kind.
REDLEE/SCS was represented in the lease negotiations by Mike Kemmet of Colliers Pinkard.

And finally, 9,064 square feet was leased by Trent Electric Company, Inc. at 3200 International
Airport Drive. Represented by Tim Robertson of CB Richard Ellis, Trent Electric Company is an
electrical contractor headquartered in Plainfield, Indiana, with operations in multiple locations
throughout the United States.

Carlson Real Estate was represented by Bryan Crutcher and Anne Johnson of CB Richard Ellis on all
three transactions.

Carlson Real Estate Company, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, entered the Charlotte
market in late 2006 with its acquisition of the 583,000 square foot CLT Logistics Center along with the
241,000 square foot South Point Business Park and the 488,000 square foot Chemway Industrial
Park. Carlson Real Estate also owns over 1 million square feet in Phoenix, AZ.
