Carlson Real Estate Company Begins 2.5 Million Dollar Renovation at Plymouth Corporate Center

Minnetonka, Minnesota – July 15th, 2009 - Carlson Real Estate Company recently began major renovations at Plymouth Corporate Center (PCC).

The project, which kicked off in June, will be completed by September 30th, 2009.

Renovations include updating the common areas with new finishes, adding a new two story atrium with new seating, media, and Wi-fi. Improvements are also being made to PCC’s corridors to improve way-finding within the building. Major improvements are being made to each building entrance. Modifications are also being made to the existing monument sign providing an opportunity for multiple tenant signage bands.

Kim Dennis, Principal with BDH & Young Space Design is leading the design renovation efforts; “The expansive atrium, with multiple skylights provides a lobby and break-out spaces which allow for collaborative and impromptu meetings for the tenants employees. The buildings floor plate and new corridor configurations afford various tenant size suites in a unique multi-tenant environment. We chose finish materials, lighting and furnishings which are very comparable to a Class A Multi-Tenant office building. Not changing at PCC are the many amenities offered. Plymouth Corporate Center will still include a fitness room, building café, coffee bar, sundry shop, ATM, training room, multiple conference rooms, and on-site daycare.
